File name designation

In the image file name should NO umlauts like ä, ü, ö and NO spaces be present. All in lowercase written.

Correct: gartenbaubader-rasenpflege-zuerich.jpg

Incorrect : IMG_6701.jpg or Zurich City.png

The same applies to media with the following file extensions such as .pdf, .jpg, .png, .webP, .mp3, .mp4, etc.

The optimal image size

1. The image size depends on the setting in WordPress or themes (demo images).
   • Standard setting WordPress 1024 x 1024 pixels
   • Size 1280 x 850 pixels
   • Recommended resolution 75 DPI
2. Reduce the image to the correct size and only then upload it.
3. Recommended max. 150 kB (Ideal 50 – 100 kB). Do not upload large images (over 0.5 MB).
4. After uploading images in WordPress, don't forget to add the alt text. Important for SEO and AI.
